Edna has extensive public sector experience and a strong background in human resource management and learning and development.

Edna joined Interaction after a successful public service career spanning 20 years. During her career she worked as a human resources executive and worked on a range of activities including: development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; investigation of grievances; evaluations (including e-learning initiatives); client service training strategies; general training and development programs including a 12 month induction program for veterinarians working at abattoirs; and the development and implementation of training strategies which has included the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development activities.
Edna is an enthusiastic and motivated facilitator who has worked with a range of participants including plant scientists, veterinarians and meat inspectors and general APS staff.
Edna has a Bachelor of Arts from the ANU majoring in psychology and political science. She is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and the American Society for Training and Development. Edna is professionally accredited in Team Management Systems (Team Management Profile, Types of Work Profile and Linking Skills Profile) and the DiSC Personal Profile System.
