Leadership Programs

Interaction has Leadership Programs which are designed to produce dynamic and committed leaders who:

• Understand the importance of teams and the need to develop their people
• Enjoy the challenges that extend their knowledge and skills
• Recognise the necessity to develop their individual and teams capabilities to match those required by the organisation
• Understand the theories of planning and use this knowledge in practical terms to utilise resources effectively
• Are capable of managing change in an ever changing environment and
• Enjoy leading people.

The programs consist of a number of interlinking elements including workshops, one-on-one coaching, seminars and individually designed activities that can be tailored to an organisation's specific needs.

Program outcomes are negotiated to ensure they are relevant and consistent with organisational goals and are often conducted over several months to ensure learning developed from workshops etc is effectively transformed into the workplace.

Additionally Interaction is able to provide a suite of leadership and management diagnostic tools including; the Lifestyles Inventory (360 degree feedback), DiSC Personal Profile System, Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Team Management Profiles (TMP).

Management of Graduate Programs

We are contracted by Commonwealth Departments to develop and deliver their graduate program over successive years. Delivery includes: off-the-job training; workplace visits and supervisor briefings; individual coaching of graduates by the lead consultant; coaching of groups of graduates completing large research projects; detailed evaluations; and workplace assessment leading to the award of the Certificate Level IV in Government.

Leadership Skills

Interaction can design and facilitate two-day workshops to enable staff to develop their team leadership skills. These workshops introduce participants to leadership, explore elements of strategic thinking, examine high-performing teams and introduce strategies for managing change. The workshop also examines communication skills, influencing and representational skills and building effective relationships.
