We specialise in facilitation, consultancy, learning and development, qualifications and coaching. We provide our services to all Australian Government portfolios and ACT Government Directorates as well as into the not-for-profit and corporate sectors.

In this role, you will be supported and guided by a team of consultants to build your consulting skills and to contribute to teams and projects, design and facilitate capability development programs, and undertake a wide variety of management and HR consultancies.

You will also have an opportunity to participate in our Community Contribution Program, providing pro-bono and reduced service rates to organisations within the community that make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Interaction Consulting is looking for an RTO Manager ready to inspire, share their knowledge and provide service excellence to our public sector clients. If you have experience in the RTO space as a trainer, assessor and/or manager, we would love to hear from you.

Reporting directly to the COO, the RTO Manager will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and implementation of training programs and overseeing the regulatory and compliance requirements of being a registered training organisation. This position will ensure Interaction’s compliance with the VET Quality Framework and all other applicable conditions of registration under the statutory guidelines of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) registration requirements and various funding body contractual requirements. 

 

If you are someone who can hit the ground running and gets excited about delivering and managing training, then this role is going to be perfect for you. We need to deliver the Cert IV in Government to a large cohort of students across the APS. The client is a large Commonwealth department and one of our most loyal and important clients.

This is a full-time contract, starting in Jan 2022, for a minimum of 9-12 months, with the option to extend. We are Canberra based and operate as a 100% distributed workforce (home based). This role will be supported by a part time administrator. 

 

Your role includes: 

 

  • Ensuring the ethical, viable, effective and efficient administration of Interactions’ Registered Training Organisation (RTO). 
  • Management of the RTO's framework to ensure adherence to ASQA, AQTF and State based regulatory authority requirements. 
  • Developing and maintaining audit schedules, plans, quality control and version control of documents relating to RTO compliance. 
  • Providing support and guidance to the administrative support team and ensuring an active approach in minimising compliance risk. 
  • Coordinating internal and external audits, qualifications updates. 
  • Maintain and develop appropriately contexualised course material. 

 

You should apply if you have a: 

  • Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Government. 
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) 
  • Demonstrated experience in a training management role within a private or public training organisation; 
  • Demonstrated understanding of the standards required for the reporting of data against contractual requirements and the ability to write reports; 
  • Comprehensive understanding of RTO standards for ASQA and state based regulatory organisations. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of information technology including VETtrak (or similar student management system).

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) 
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Government
